Privacy policy

Last updated 1 July 2026.

Scope

This policy explains how Baxtra Inc. collects, uses, shares and protects personal information through this website. Separate, more detailed notices are provided directly to clinical trial participants and to healthcare professionals working with us.

Information we collect

This website does not host contact forms, accounts or newsletters, so the personal information collected here is limited to:

  • Technical information collected automatically — IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed and referring URL
  • Analytics information, only where you have consented to analytics cookies

Personal information relating to clinical studies is collected by study sites under their own consent process and reaches us in coded form.

How we use it

To operate and secure the website, to understand which pages are useful, and to meet legal obligations including drug and device safety reporting where relevant.

Legal bases

Where the GDPR or comparable law applies, we rely on consent for analytics, compliance with a legal obligation for safety records, and our legitimate interests in operating a secure website.

Research data

Clinical and biomarker data generated in our studies is coded and held separately from identifying information, and is never sold. Participants may withdraw consent at any time through their study site; withdrawal stops further use and triggers destruction of stored samples, though analyses already completed cannot be reversed.

Sharing

We share personal information with service providers acting on our instructions, with health authorities where safety reporting requires it, with professional advisers, and in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information.

Retention

We keep information only as long as needed for the purpose collected, except where safety and regulatory rules require longer — safety records, for example, are retained for the life of the product plus ten years.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability, object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. US state residents may have additional rights. Trial participants should raise requests through their study site, which will route them to our privacy office. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

Cookies

We use strictly necessary cookies to make the site work and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand how it is used. You can change your choice at any time through cookie preferences in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not track you across other websites.

Children

This website is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information outside a clinical trial context with guardian consent.
